The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs Romanian citizens who are located, transits or intends to travel in the north of England and the Gallers on the high risk of road, rail and air traffic disturbances for 4 August, in the context of adverse weather conditions (Floris Furtuna), says Agerpres.
The weather will be particularly low in the north of the British Isles with severe winds that may occasionally exceed 130 km/h.
On Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 August 2025, Storm Floris will hit the North of Europe. Wind gusts up to 136 km/h can be recorded.
Britain is bracing for Storm Floris to move in on Monday. The windiest part of the storm is expected to be in Scotland, where gale force winds are expected to reach the coast. The British Meteorological Service warns that it could be life-threatening.
