The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says an 88-year-old Monroe City man died Tuesday morning in a collision involving a pick-up truck and a dump truck at the intersection of US 50 and Anson Road. The driver of the pick-up, 88-year-old Martin Dreiman of Monroe City, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and was pronounced dead after arrival.
