ST. JOHN'S - Mounties say one person is dead and another is fighting for their life in hospital after a shooting in a central area of Newfoundland.

RCMP investigate shooting in Grand Falls

Police are investigating a shooting in Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday that sent one person to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Another person was found dead near a vehicle that police believe was used by the suspect to flee the scene.
