Organizations Celebrate 100th Anniversary of Black History Month
ASALH marks 100 years since Negro History Month began with programs to safeguard Black history amid concerns over rewriting and erasure, said President Kaye Wise Whitehead.

- Dr. Kaye Wise Whitehead said this month is to lay the groundwork for year-round Black history education, and Kesler added, `We always like to say Beck is Black History and Culture 365 unless it's leap year, in which case we do 366 days.
