A 59-year-old Cass Lake woman died Tuesday after her boat crashed into the shore on Leech Lake in Cass County. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 1:25 p.m. on the south shore of Leech Lake, near the Walker City Park. CASS CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A woman has died after her boat crashed into the rocks and shoreline on Leech Lake, near Walker City Park. The sheriff’s office responded Tuesday afternoon around 1:30. The woman was removed from the boat and lifesaving efforts continued until medics arrived at the Walker airport where she was pronounced dead.
