Police investigating fatality on Matamata driveway

Image – Google Maps. One person has died after being struck by a vehicle on a driveway in Matamata this afternoon. Emergency services were called to a property on Manuka Street at around 1.50pm. The road is closed while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area if possible. Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
