On July 3, the Nixon Library held a full day of events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, including speeches by six U.S. "presidents" (played by actors), a Grand Motor Show, and a fireworks display. There was also a citizenship ceremony in which 22 active-duty military personnel from 11 countries took the oath of citizenship.
