The 2nd Marine Division conducted a search operation for North Korean wooden box mines and anti-personnel mines washed ashore by heavy rains at Dwijangsul Beach in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon. As cases of displaced mines being discovered in border areas have been occurring frequently recently, military authorities are continuing their preemptive response to ensure the safety of residents.
