The Ombudsman for Children's Rights Alina Jakavonienė says that she herself initiated an investigation into the story about a family living in the Ukmergė district, from which six children are to be taken. According to the Ombudsman, in this case, an independent investigation is necessary, during which the decisions of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service (SCRPAS) would be evaluated.
