A dozen of the best skateboarding athletes in the world confirmed their participation in Quebradillas’ Pirate Downhill 2026, said Mayor Heriberto Vélez Vélez. Among these are Alicia Fillback and Lisa Peters, who are part of the U.S. Olympic team. Along with them will also compete the Canadian Dowhill champions Katerina Hill and Teresa Campell who will compete the Caribbean title with local athletes Nayhomi Cruz and Nashley Alameda, among others.
