Thursday, February 5, 2025. I visit the old town of Olten and take a photo of a facade that I find particularly interesting. As I approach it, I read the following inscription on the facade: “Aussug der Oltener in den Bauernkrieg 1653” (“Exodus or departure of the inhabitants of Olten during the Peasants' War in 1653”).
