In the election to the Geneva Attorney General – a rarity in Switzerland – the favourite winner was Olivier Jornot.
Olivier Jornot was re-elected on Sunday as Attorney General of the Canton of Geneva in the first round of the election. The outgoing PLR narrowly won the absolute majority of the vote, ahead of Pierre Bayenet, the candidate of Ensemble à Gauche, 5825 votes.
