OLG third-quarter payments given to municipalities for hosting Peterborough-area casinos
OLG distributed over $1.3 million to Ontario host municipalities in the third quarter, supporting local services through revenue-sharing agreements.
- The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation paid host municipalities, including $2,371,290 to the City of Belleville, for the period July 1 to Dec. 31, 2025, by March 31, 2026.

- Local officials said host communities have received almost 2.4 billion in non-tax gaming revenue since 1994, helping deliver vital services and enhance residents' quality of life, Tyler Allsopp and Lisa Thompson noted.
- Service providers invested more than $2.9 billion in private sector capital over nine years, producing seven new casinos and two large-scale resort developments provincewide.
