Old Genessee Road closing for 6 months as crews work to replace bridge west of US 51 in Tangipahoa Parish

NATALBANY — Starting Monday, Old Genessee Road about half a mile west of U.S. 51 will be closed as crews work to replace a bridge along the road. This will take about six months, Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller says. "The project will be completed using funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
