Old Church burns in Lamar
In the early morning hours Tuesday Jan. 27, the Imperial Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Lamar Volunteer Fire Dept. were called to a structure fire in Lamar. The old church that was no longer in use was a total loss. The quonset beside the church, owned by Kevin Way’s Trucking Company was unharmed. Crews worked until mid morning making sure the fire was contained and out. NewsLocal
