OKLAHOMA CITY – Gov. Kevin Stitt has set the election dates to fill a soon-to-be empty House seat.

Special Election Dates Set for House District 35

Governor Kevin Stitt recently set the dates for the special election needed to fill the House District 35 seat opens once the current occupant’s resignation takes effect. The filing period opens October 6 – 8, 2025. The primary election is set for December 9, 2025. If a runoff is needed, that will be set for January 13, 2026. The general election will be held on February 10, 2026. However, that all depends on what the candidate field looks like o
