Oil prices fell today on Friday, with Brent's futures falling by 0.7% to $103.53 per barrel by 0220 GMT, while Western Texas's futures fell by 0.6% to $90. Despite this decline, Brent's rough is going to record weekly gains, following a 4% rise at Thursday's settlement yesterday.
Oil prices fell on Friday morning after a significant rise the previous day, partly due to heightened concerns about events in the Middle East.
Brent crude oil is trading at $102.90 per barrel on international futures markets.
