Libbey product Buford returns to Ohio State basketball as program assistant

COLUMBUS — William Buford, who starred at Libbey High School before going on to play collegiately at Ohio State, has returned to the Buckeyes program in a coaching role.

Former Ohio State Guard William Buford Joins Jake Diebler’s Staff

Jake Diebler has added an Ohio State basketball legend to his staff. Diebler announced Monday that former Buckeye guard William Buford will join the program as a program assistant. He played at Ohio State from 2008-12 before spending the next 14 years playing professionally overseas.
