Loren Keith Coates: 1936 – 2026 Loren Keith Coates passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born in Longmont, Colorado, and grew up in Mead, Colorado, then Denver, Albuquerque, and Pueblo. He joined the Pueblo Police Department in 1960, and attained the rank of Captain in 1974. He was the watch commander in the Patrol Division and was in charge of the Records Division. He retired in 1991, then worked in security for the …
