Oark Teacher Awarded Grant: Allen Recognized At Jasper Board Meeting
Sandy Allen, librarian at Oark Schools, was presented with a grant from the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association (ARTA) during the monthly meeting of the Jasper School Board on Monday, June 16. Allen received the Parsons-Burnett Scholarship Grant in the amount of $2,000. The scholarship is funded by memorials and donations from members of the ARTA.
