NWS survey confirms EF2 tornado near Slater, Missouri, with 115 mph winds and 36-mile damage path

The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF2 tornado carved a more than 36-mile path across Saline and Howard counties in Missouri.

NWS: Tornado that struck Slater was EF2, had total track more than 36 miles long

It had a maximum width of 350 yards, the NWS estimated.
