National Weather Service confirms tornado struck Pa. county in Sunday storms
After several tornadoes hit southwestern Pennsylvania the previous weekend, the National Weather Service confirmed that another one touched down farther north in Jefferson County on Sunday. NWS confirmed a tornado near the village of Anita north of Punxsutawney and one touched down near Salem in Columbiana County, Ohio, which borders Beaver and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania.
