EASLEY, S.C. (WSPA) - The U.S. National Weather Service confirmed that a EF-0 tornado briefly appeared in Easley. A damage survey team found evidence that a weak twister made a short appearance on the south side of Easley late Saturday night. The twister, with wind speeds of up to 90 mph, touched down at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, northwest of Gainesville. It cut a path 2.75 miles long and 150 yards wide.
