- Nurse Pheddie Delos Reyes, 29, was removed from the nursing register following his conviction for secretly recording men and a child in the men's toilets at an Asda store in Swindon in July 2023.
- The incident followed a customer report to Wiltshire Police who arrested Delos Reyes after reviewing CCTV and seizing devices with voyeuristic videos.
- Footage showed Delos Reyes remained inside the men's restroom for close to three hours, during which time approximately fifty individuals of various ages, both adults and children, used the facilities while the urinals were out of service.
- Pheddie Delos Reyes pleaded guilty to two charges of voyeurism and one charge related to creating an indecent image of a child, received a suspended sentence in June 2023, and was subject to an 18-month interim suspension order imposed by the NMC panel.
- The NMC found his conduct a serious departure from nursing standards, impairing fitness to practise and posing a future risk to patients, concluding he was fundamentally incompatible with maintaining registration.
