Norway has today submitted its new climate target for 2035 under the Paris Agreement. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 70–75 percent in 2035 compared to 1990.

The government has submitted Norway's new 2035 climate targets to the UN. Recently, the Labour Party, the Conservative Party and the Liberal Party secured a majority for emissions cuts of 70–75 percent.
