Northbound Sta Venera tunnel closed after accident

Motorists have been urged to avoid the northbound Sta Venera tunnel because of an accident.Transport Malta said the tunnel heading from Qormi has been closed and motorists are being urged to use alternative routes.Heavy traffic has been reported in the area.The accident happened shortly before 10am.

Northbound St Venera Tunnel Closed Following Collision

A traffic accident occurred earlier today at the Santa Venera tunnels at around 9.35 am. The collision involved a motorbike and a car. The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital, but their condition is currently unknown. The condition of the car driver is also not yet known.
