- The crash happened at around 3:50 a.m. when a 2020 Toyota Corolla traveled south in the northbound lanes, colliding with a Chevrolet Impala, FHP reported.
- The driver of the Corolla, along with the driver and a passenger of the Impala, were pronounced dead at the scene, as stated by FHP.
- Six others were injured in a chain-reaction crash triggered by the initial collision, with all injured transported to hospitals, FHP stated.
