The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff reported on Thursday that North Korea launched about ten short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea – also known as the Japan Sea – just a few hours after US President Donald Trump claimed he will meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un later this year.
