The Province of North Holland is extending a trial involving a drone deployed for incidents on the road or water, such as breakdowns or accidents. A test being conducted at De Kooy in Den Helder has shown that the drone arrives at the scene before a road inspector, allowing the traffic control center to assess the situation on site more quickly and initiate the appropriate assistance. A second test location will be added.
