EADaily, January 25th, 2026. The leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), Alice Weidel, said that "the Ukrainians and Zelensky" would reimburse Germany for the blown-up Nord Stream and the billions of euros spent on it as assistance in the conflict with Russia.
German AfD leader Alice Weidel criticized German arms shipments to Ukraine at a congress in Mulheim, demanding the return of €70 billion in investments and compensation for damage to the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Weidel also expressed outrage over the Bundeswehr's possible involvement in the mission in Ukraine and the use of German tanks against Russia.
