- Investigators allege Anand masterminded the violent labour demonstrations in Noida, reportedly using WhatsApp groups to mobilize workers and incite stone-pelting and arson.
- Authorities placed a reward of Rs 1 lakh on the BTech graduate from NIT Jamshedpur, and police have arrested 63 individuals so far in connection with the unrest.
- A Gautam Buddh Nagar court had previously issued a non-bailable warrant against Anand, and police are now initiating further legal proceedings following his apprehension by a joint Special Task Force team.
- Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh stated that investigators identified social media accounts operating from Pakistan that allegedly used VPNs to spread misleading information and disrupt peace during the protests.
