- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Jewar facility in March, which then secured Aerodrome Security Programme approval from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and an all-weather license from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation .
- The facility features a 3,900-meter runway capable of handling wide-body aircraft, with an initial passenger capacity of 12 million annually, scaling to over 70 million over the 40-year concession period.

Noida International Airport to welcome passengers from June 15
