Noel Gallagher Shocked and Saddened by Manchester City Development
Gallagher said the ruling was a shock and called it sad for fans and players after City were found guilty on 114 of 115 charges.
On Friday, reports emerged that Manchester City were found guilty of 114 of 115 Premier League financial charges, prompting "shock" from prominent club supporter Noel Gallagher.
The Premier League issued the 115 charges in February 2023, which Manchester City consistently denied, leaving Gallagher "a little surprised" by the verdict.
Addressing concerns about the club's history, Gallagher stated: "Our focus as fans is always on the pitch and we know what we saw," regarding moments like Sergio Aguero's dramatic 2012 title-winning goal.
Bernstein urged swift action on Times Radio, warning that a drawn-out appeal would be a "disaster" for English football and that penalties must be "more drastic than that."
Away from football, Noel Gallagher announced a 38-show Live 27 world tour following the reunited band's Live 25 tour, which generated more than 293 million in revenue.
Noel Gallagher, 59, believes that a forced relegation for Manchester City would be unfair. He does not want the fans and players to be punished. “Our focus is always on what happens on the pitch,” says Gallagher.
