No one hurt in car fire at Alexander Jr. High - Daily Leader

No one was injured Monday afternoon when a car caught fire in the parking lot of Alexander Junior High. Brookhaven Fire and Police departments were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. to the lot on Grenn Street, facing the band hall across from the school buildings. The owner of the vehicle told responders she heard something pop when she tried to crank the older model Nissan Altima, then it caught fire. The blaze was quickly extinguished.
