Ursula Von Der Leyen: No One Does More for Gaza than EU
Von der Leyen said the EU has earmarked over 2.7 billion euros in aid and delivered 5,600 tonnes of supplies since Oct. 23.

- Since October, the European Union has earmarked over 2.7 billion euros in humanitarian aid for Palestinian people, organizing 85 humanitarian flights and delivering more than 5,600 tonnes of supplies.
- Von der Leyen condemned the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank as "utterly unacceptable," yet acknowledged no consensus exists among member states to sanction Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
- Regarding action against Israel, von der Leyen stated "the ball is in the court of the member states." A proposal to suspend trade preferences under the EU-Israel Association Agreement has remained pending for 10 months.
- The Commission is working with member states to resolve technical issues with the EES entry system. An expert report due July 13 will propose a "comprehensive concept about social media delay for different age groups.
