‘No escape for illegal voters’: ICE arrests Italian national in NJ accused of voting in 4 elections
ICE has arrested 72-year-old Italian national Andrea Morzetta in New Jersey over alleged voter fraud, accusing him of illegally voting in four U.S. federal elections. The arrest comes as the Trump administration and DHS ramp up their crackdown on non-citizen voting and election-related crimes ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections. ICE has issued a stern warning to illegal voters: authorities will track them down, arrest them and prosecute them.
Morzetta would vote in four different federal elections without being a U.S. citizen and, therefore, without having the necessary qualifications to express his preference
