Nissan Terrano PHEV Concept Revealed: Could This Be the Next-Gen Pathfinder Hiding in Plain Sight?
Nissan will build both plug-in hybrid SUVs in China and send the Terrano to selected global markets within 12 months, the company said.

- The Terrano returns as a rugged off-roader, a nameplate last seen on the 1999 Terrano II, with the automaker saying it "builds on Nissan's off-road heritage" while addressing outdoor adventure and urban commuting.
- While the Urban PHEV is "designed for young Chinese customers," the automaker confirmed the Terrano is "intended for selected global markets," with production versions due in showrooms within 12 months.
- Utilizing China as a global innovation and export hub, Nissan stated, "First, China serves as a strong domestic market," alongside operations in Japan and the United States.
- Other new Chinese-built models, including the N7 sedan and NX8 SUV, are potentially headed to global markets including Australia, as the company intends to launch "three additional NEV models in China within a year.
