Nishihara Social Welfare Council and FamilyMart Have Reached an Agreement to Install Food Boxes at Three Stores in the Town and Donate Food to Households in Need.
[Nishihara] Nishihara Town Social Welfare Council (Chairman Satoru Niijima, pictured right) and Okinawa FamilyMart (President Goichi Itokazu) signed an agreement on July 21st to implement a "food drive" in which surplus food from households is collected and donated to households in need. Dedicated boxes have been set up at three stores in the town to accept food donations.
