Niger: Collective Demands Release of Deposed President Mohamed Bazoum, Detained Since July 2023

The International Collective for the Liberation of Mohamed Bazoum sends an open letter to several international institutions. Signed by more than 150 people, the text calls for an urgent international mobilization for the release of the Nigerian president overthrown by a military coup d'état on 26 July 2023. Since that date, he and his wife are still detained at the presidential residence in Niamey.
