The strategic partnership between Romania and Poland must be consolidated for the safety of citizens of both states, has been transmitted to Romania's president Nicusōr Dan, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for months.
President Andrzej Duda congratulated the winner of the presidential elections in Romania. Nicusor Dan won in the repeat vote. I am convinced that we will continue to deepen our strategic partnership - the Polish president noted.
Mr Dan, new President of Romania, forwarded to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that the strategic partnership between Romania and Poland should be consolidated in the context of regional security challenges and mutual support between the two NATO and EU Member States.
