Nicola Spagnolo, considered by the police to be a member of the Sicilian clan of the Montreal Mafia, was sentenced to three years in prison on Wednesday for stabbing a young man following an argument, at the exit of a bar in Old Montreal, during the summer of 2020.

A Quebec Court judge noted the consequences a victim of a stabbing in Old Montreal is still experiencing as he sentenced Nicola Spagnolo, a man with alleged ties to the Montreal Mafia, to a three-year prison term.
