NIA raids multiple locations across Kashmir
Investigators are collecting evidence on alleged cross-border terror links and secessionist propaganda, with searches under way at 10 locations, officials said.
- On Saturday, the National Investigation Agency conducted searches at 10 locations across Kashmir in connection with a cross-border terror conspiracy involving the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and its local Over Ground Workers .
- Separately, the State Investigation Agency searched five locations in Poonch and Udhampur districts on Saturday, investigating alleged propagation of secessionist narratives and radicalization through online and offline communication channels.
- The Counter Intelligence Kashmir conducted additional search raids across South Kashmir on Sunday, assisted by security agencies in targeting individuals connected to an ongoing terror-related case.
- During the operations, investigators secured incriminating material to corroborate evidence collected during the investigation. "Further details, if any, will be shared upon completion," an SIA spokesperson said.
- Authorities continue examining financial trails and communication channels to dismantle terror support networks, building on the March 31, 2026 arrest of an OGW associated with LeT that revealed linkages between Pakistan-based handlers and local associates.
