NGO launches sanitary pad banks in five schools - Ghana Business News

The Community Aid for Rural Development (CARD-Ghana) has launched sanitary pad banks in five Junior High Schools (JHS) in the Wa municipality. The banks aim to promote menstrual hygiene, reduce absenteeism, and empower young girls. The initiative by CARD-Ghana with funding support from Plan International Ghana, sought to ensure that no girl missed school due to the lack of access to sanitary pads.
