Nearly 800 political prisoners remain detained in Venezuela despite a series of announced releases earlier this month following the capture of authoritarian President Nicolas Maduro.
Caracas (EFE).- The NGO Foro Penal reported this Monday that it registers a total of 777 political prisoners in Venezuela, after a process of release announced by the President of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, a few days after the United States captured Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on January 3rd in Venezuela.
