NFL Confirms Dates, Matchups for Nine 2026 International Games
The slate includes the NFL’s first games in Australia and France and returns to Mexico City after a three-year hiatus.
On Wednesday, the National Football League announced a record nine-game international slate for the 2026 season, spanning seven countries across four continents and marking the largest international expansion in league history.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said he aims to reach 16 international games annually, and the league's 17-game format this year gives the NFC nine home games, resulting in most designated host teams coming from that conference.
The league adds Australia and France to the schedule for the first time, with games at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, and Stade de France in Paris, France marking historic debuts.
Jacksonville Jaguars will play consecutive home games in London against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans, while the Los Angeles Rams face the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne to open the season.
The full 2026 regular-season schedule will be released on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with tickets going on sale through Ticketmaster immediately following the announcement.
