Newtown police: Car stolen while left running at gas station
An unoccupied white Kia Optima EX was reportedly stolen while it was parked at the gas pumps. The car's engine had been left running while the driver went inside the store. Anyone who may have seen a suspicious person or vehicle in the area at the time of the theft is asked to call Newtown Police Officer Steve Borges at 203-426-5841.
