New York GOP rep: Trump’s commutation of Santos ‘the wrong decision’

On Sunday, President Donald Trump commuted the sentence of former GOP New York Rep. George Santos, and Santos was released last week after the commutation.
Santos admitted to stealing from political donors and using campaign funds for personal expenses, while allegations say he defrauded voters and lied about his finances collecting unemployment benefits.
Santos apologized, saying it was an honor to serve the constituents of the 3rd District of New York and asked for a second chance to prove himself.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis told CNN's "State of the Union" she thinks the commutation was the wrong decision and urged George Santos to back up his words with actions.
