Courts unprepared for Renters' Rights Bill as possession delays worsen, says NRLA

The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) has warned that the Government is not facing up to the state of the court system after the end of Section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions. Ministry of Justice data showed landlords waited over seven months to regain a property through the courts in Q1 2025.  This went up from 29.8 weeks a year earlier to 32.5 weeks.
