[Naha] A New Year's Thanksgiving Festival (sponsored by the association) was held at the Makishi Public Market in Naha City on January 17th ahead of "18th (Ichiba) (Market) Day." In addition to lion dances and flag bearings, there were also events such as tuna and pig cutting shows, entertaining the local residents and tourists who visited. This year marks the third year for the public market, which was renovated and reopened in 2023.
