Zeus of Finland has already been invited to the Bay of Bothnia, as winter is progressing faster in the north this year than last year.
A new sea route could become possible between Sweden and Finland. The passenger ferry would then run between Gävle and Rauma. There are currently plans to extend European Route 16, or E16, which currently runs from Northern Ireland, via Scotland and Norway, and ends in Gävle.
